Design Story

The wraparound artwork reads in deep garnet with gold-toned linework, a palette held tight enough that nothing competes. At the centre sits a shield crest with a gamecock rendered in profile, framed by feathered wings, laurel detail and a small trophy motif beneath. Below it, a banner panel carries the SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS lettering in serif type, with an SEC roundel acting as a divider. The lower band opens into a palmetto and crescent illustration, giving the composition somewhere to breathe. Tooled, leather-look shading and fine engraved borders build depth without adding noise — the hierarchy moves cleanly from crest, to wordmark, to state motif.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler, this vertical stacking works in its favour. The crest lands in the front-facing focal zone at eye level, the banner sits mid-body where the hand naturally holds, and the gold accent bands cap the silhouette top and base. The handle, finished in the same warm tone, reads as part of the composition rather than hardware bolted on. Carry presence: heritage over hype.
