Below, the cabinet sits in deep plum and gold, a bat medallion centred on its front panel, a black record still turning on the platter. Musical notes drift where the smoke thins. The palette is restrained — aged brass, dusty rose, ash blue — so the ghost reads as melancholy rather than menace. The contour cut follows the gramophone itself, which is what gives the piece its presence.
