Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and strictly hierarchical. Arched lettering reads LOS ANGELES GALAXY across the upper band, framed by a fine star-and-line border. Below it sits the focal panel: the shielded LA crest with its four-point star, edged in gold, sitting on matte navy so the metallic tones do the lifting. Underneath, three stacked plaques step down in scale — 1995, Los Angeles, Los Galácticos — closing on an engraved city skyline. Filigree scrollwork fills the flanks without crowding the centre. It reads as commemorative rather than loud: restrained palette, high tonal contrast, disciplined negative space.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the design behaves well. The crest lands in the natural eye-line of the front-facing panel, the banded top and base bracket the vertical proportion, and the wraparound ornament keeps the reverse from reading empty. The dark ground gives the gold real presence at arm's length — a quiet statement piece for the desk, the commute, or the stands.
