Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical: a fan of stepped gold rays rises above the emblem, black inlay panels drop below it, and the hog profile locks into the centre with its snarl angled left. Crimson carries the whole surface, so the thin gold linework does all the separating — a restrained two-tone hierarchy rather than a busy one. Lower down, a black plaque reads ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS in spaced gold capitals, closing the composition with a quiet typographic base.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette the artwork reads in tiers. The crest occupies the widest part of the body as the focal panel, the wordmark sits on the tapered lower section where the eye naturally lands, and the deco rays follow the vertical proportion instead of fighting it.
